I was amazed recently (early January) to happen upon a single Little Egret whilst jogging in a rather urban section of Clydach canal.
Is this a rare sighting or have others seen this bird along this stretch of water before?

Don't look at the finger or you'll miss all the avain glory.
Little Egrets, once rare, are now common.
Report your sighting on Bird Track (google it), it will help the BTO and RSPB plot their spread.
