Found an injured Magpie in my back garden this evening, has had it's tail feathers ripped off from what i can tell. Have placed him/her in a large plastic container for now but not sure what to do after that. Any advice would be gratefully received. TIA

I'm no expert, though probably not a lot that you can do. A vet of bird sanctuary may be able to help.
I don't know if anyone else has anything they could offer advice wise.
